The Chapter works hand in hand with industry and the public to develop and implement programs designed to enhance the professionalism of the membership and code officials. Members participate in local, state, regional and national activities to increase public awareness of the importance of the safe built environment.
The Chapter’s Public Outreach Committee is charged with the public relations efforts of the Chapter as it relates to the various municipalities in Southern Nevada, including Pahrump, Mesquite, City of North Las Vegas, City of Las Vegas, City of Henderson and Clark County. The membership of the chapter consists of building officials of these communities, along with a number of industry members at large.
